Brittingham Social Enterprise Lab, USC

Learn about the minor in social entrepreneurship at the Marshall School's BSEL
About

The Brittingham Social Enterprise Lab (BSEL), part of USC’s Marshall School of Business, provides opportunities for USC students, faculty, and other individuals to use business principles to alleviate poverty. Through education, programs, events, and career development, the BSEL inspires the next generation of enlightened business leaders and social entrepreneurs.

In 2014, the BSEL established a one-year Master's degree in social entrepreneurism. In conceptualizing the degree, Professor Adlai Wertman, the BSEL's founding director, drew upon his seven years as chief executive officer of Chrysalis, one of Southern California's leading social enterprises.
