Southern California Public Radio

Southern California Public Radio (SCPR) is a member-supported public media network that operates across the region, reaching from Santa Barbara down to Los Angeles and Orange Counties, and out to Riverside and the Coachella Valley. SCPR also informs and interacts with its communities through its website, mobile and social media channels and live events.

The mission of SCPR and its affiliates LAist 89.3, LAist.com and LAist Studios, is to stengthen the civic and cultural bonds that unite Southern California's diverse communities by providing the highest quality news and information across multiple platforms. It provides a public form that engages its audiences in an ongoing dialogue and exploration of issues, events, and cultures in the region and in the world.
