Trust for Public Land

The Trust for Public Land, a national organization, works to protect the places people care about and to create close-to-home parks--particularly in and near cities, where 85% of Americans live. Its goal is to ensure that every child has easy access to a safe place to play in nature.

The Trust for Public Land's focus in Los Angeles County is creating and improving parks, installing Fitness Zones™, and championing green alleys in some of our most densely populated, park-poor neighborhoods.

Whether the Trust for Public Land is creating a new park, managing a complete makeover, or simply installing outdoor gym equipment, its work is inspired by input from the locals and shaped by the needs of the community.
