Los Angeles Walks
Los Angeles Walks is a pedestrian advocacy group that makes walking safe, accessible and fun for all Angelenos.
The volunteer-driven organization is dedicated to promoting walking and a pedestrian infrastructure in Los Angeles, educating Angelenos and local policymakers concerning the rights and needs of pedestrians of all abilities, and fostering the development of safe and vibrant environments for all pedestrians.
Deborah Murphy founded Los Angeles Walks in 1998. Over the years, she and friends have consistently worked to raise awareness of the role of walking in Los Angeles and innovative design to help foster a more livable city.
