9 Dots

9 Dots develops, provides and shares STEM programs dedicated to helping students from underserved backgrounds cultivate a passion for innovation, build confidence in their abilities, and master the knowledge required to succeed in the 21st century.

The organization creates original STEM projects that teach students to explore, inquire and innovate. It also implements enrichment curricula to help students strenghen their academic credentials.

Trained volunteer tutors teach original curricula at 9 Dots' free after-school program, which is offered Monday through Friday. In addition, 9 Dots shares all of its curricula online.

A sampling of topics include: aeronautics, animation,  computer programming, environmental engineering, physics, structural engineering, and product design.
