Council for Watershed Health
About
The Council for Watershed Health enhances the economic, social, and ecological health of the region's watersheds through education, research, and planning. Its goals are to:
- Achieve regional sustainability through integrated natural resources management.
- Change policies and practices through strategic actions and communication.
- Work together with governments, businesses, academia, and organizations to achieve its vision.
The Council seeks to achieve its goals through the following:

Urban Stormwater Program
Increase water supply and water quality through promoting more efficient use of stormwater resources.

Sustainable Landscapes Program
Foster a landscape ethic that supports the use of native and regionally appropriate vegetation and reduces water use

Watershed Coordination Program
Provide leadership, guidance, and assistance, working with other agencies and organizations, to affect sound watershed planning and management.
