Conrad N. Hilton Foundation
The Conrad N. Hilton Foundation supports leading nonprofit organizations and partners with foundations, philanthropists, governments and corporations to solve social problems in the United States and around the world. It cultivates long-term partnerships with key organizations that deliver measurable results in its priority areas. It does not accept unsolicited proposals.
The Hilton Foundation’s priority areas include: supporting Catholic Sisters, caring for vulnerable children, helping youth in the United States transitioning out of foster care, ending chronic homelessness, preventing substance abuse, and providing safe water. In addition, the foundation is interested in confronting sight loss, nurturing Catholic schools, responding to disasters, educating students for the hospitality industry, and overcoming multiple sclerosis. The Foundation’s website includes a range of studies and resources related to its focus areas.
The Hilton Foundation annually awards the Conrad N. Hilton Humanitarian Award to a nonprofit doing extraordinary work to alleviate human suffering. At $1.5 million, it is the largest such prize in the world.
