Beatriz Solis

Dr. Beatriz Solis is the interim director of Los Angeles' Office of Strategic Partnerships, which is charged with coordinating public and private efforts on various programs.

She is a graduate of the UCLA Jonathan and Karin Fielding School of Public Health (MPH ’96, PhD ’07); president of the Fielding School of Public Health Alumni Association, and director of community health at The California Endowment.

To occupy this position, which pays $1 per year, Dr. Solis is on leave from the California Endowment, where she is the director of healthy communities for the southern region of the state.
